We recently completed another review of the reporting features in the IMPaCT app following the recent 6/6/26 app update and wanted to share with you the issues that we found. These have all been resolved as of 6/23/26.
Nearly all issues resulted in minor adjustments of 0-2% to the metrics and you can find a comprehensive list of all issues in the attached document. There were three issues we want to highlight because they affect metrics that are important to program operations (issues 1 and 2) or their magnitude of change was >2% (issues 2 and 3).
Reports affected: Progress report, Closeout report
Metrics affected: Roadmap completion section:
- Average number of active Roadmaps per client
- Average roadmaps completed per client
- Average number of active Goals per client
- Average number of Goals completed per client
- Average number of active To-dos per client
- Average number of To-dos completed per client
Impact: There was an error that caused the number of active and completed roadmaps to appear lower than they actually were by 6-7% (relative percentage). The same error also caused the % of roadmaps completed to appear higher than they actually were by 1-2% (absolute percentage).
Cause: Roadmaps were being counted as active and completed only once per client rather than once per enrollment. So if a client enrolled twice and re-used a roadmap from their first enrollment in their second enrollment, that roadmap was only being counted once for the client rather than being counted towards each enrollment.
Reports affected: Progress report
Metrics affected: MPI completion section:
- Clients with Meet the person completed
- Clients with Snapshot completed
Impact: There was an error that caused these metrics to appear lower than they were by 1-3% (relative percentage). The corrected metric is now higher.
Cause: When the snapshot was completed on the last day of the reporting period it was not being counted as completed and thus the Meet the person was also not counted as complete. This primarily affected the Progress report and in theory could affect the Closeout report though we did not see discrepancies in the Closeout report on investigation.
Reports affected: Activity report, Progress report, Closeout report
Metrics affected: SDOH needs section:
- Activity report: Number of encounters with Social support need supported
- Progress and Closeout reports: Average number of encounters per client with Social support need supported
Impact: There was an error that caused these metrics to appear higher than they were by 2-3% (relative percentage). The corrected metric is now lower.
Cause: We were double counting "Resources - community groups" and "Social support" within the same encounter as 2 separate encounters of support. Both of these types of support apply to the “Social support” need, so when they both occur in the same encounter it should count as 1 encounter where the Social support need is supported.
We apologize for any inconvenience these issues have caused and we are here to help with any questions you have at support@impactcarehq.com.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
