What it is: In the client list there’s a column called “Hospitalized” which has been greyed out up to now. We’re turning this column on so that it displays the most recent hospitalization from your client’s Medical Visits list. “Medical Visits” is the new name for the “Clinical Encounters” section of the client chart. We made this name change to better distinguish these medical visits from your work with clients.
Why it’s important: Hospitalizations are especially important times to reach out to clients who aren’t enrolled since clients both need more support and are more open to receiving support when they’re hospitalized. Hospitalizations are also important times to support the enrolled clients you’re already working with. This feature lets you see who is in the hospital or had a recent hospitalization so you can give them the support they need.
How to use it:
- The basics: Please note this feature only works when there is information about hospitalizations in a client’s chart in the Medical Visits section. You can add this information in the Medical Visits section or through a data feed. Once there is hospitalization information, you’ll see the date of the client’s most recent hospitalization in the client list!
