What: Have you ever thought: “Man, I’d love to be able to score my screeners so I know which clients have the highest risk?” We read your mind! We’re building a simple score for the screener that we’re going to be releasing in the next month or so. In the meantime, we’re making a couple of tweaks to the IMPaCT screener so that it lines up better with other types of screeners. We are also revising some of the Type of Support categories to make the names more meaningful and aligned with the screener.
Why: Standardized categories and scoring of social needs allows CHWs to support clients with the greatest needs. We’re renaming some Types of Support because…words matter. For example, we know that sometimes addressing food insecurity requires more than just a resource referral. It could mean sitting down with someone, going through their budget and hooking them up with a local produce vendor. Therefore, we’re renaming the Resources Category “Problem-Solving”.
How: All these updates will be at your fingertips when you sign in on October 22, 2024!
